Recently, the shipping ceremony of the power battery intelligent flexible assembly line jointly built by Gree Intelligent Equipment and SAIC General Motors Power Technology was held in Zhuhai. Zhong Chengbao, Director and Chief Engineer of Zhuhai Gree Electric Co., Ltd., and Kong Ming, General Manager of SAIC GM Power Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., attended the event together with core members of the project team to witness the application of domestically produced high-end equipment in the field of new energy.
With the joint efforts of both parties, the project has completed all preparatory work and is about to be launched. The new energy power battery pack automation production line designed and manufactured by Gree Intelligent Equipment focuses on automation, intelligence, and digitization. Through the widespread application of high-precision industrial robots, precision instruments and equipment, and intelligent logistics systems (such as AGV), the entire process from tray online to battery pack offline is intelligent and flexible. Key processes such as tray visual guidance glue coating, battery shoulder glue coating, precision visual guidance cover tightening, high-precision airtightness detection and EOL testing, whole package appearance inspection, and whole package offline are fully automated at core workstations. This model significantly improves production efficiency and product consistency, and relies on modular design and MES system to achieve flexible production of multiple product models. At the same time, the production line integrates a large number of sensors and machine vision for real-time online quality monitoring, combined with MES to ensure the traceability of data throughout the entire process. Equipped with a comprehensive environmental monitoring and safety protection system for battery safety characteristics. Ultimately, through data-driven intelligent management, the high-quality, efficient, safe, and reliable production of power battery packs has been ensured, becoming a key intelligent manufacturing unit in the new energy vehicle industry chain.
